Hobson Leavy is pleased to announce the appointment of Marama Parore as Trustee for Middlemore Clinical Trials.
Marama has a background in community nursing, teaching, training and management with over 25 years of experience in health including the Public Health Commission, Plunket, the Central Regional Health Authority, Health Funding Authority as a General Manager for PHARMAC and Pou Ahorangi Chief Executive of Te Rau Matatini the Nation Maori Workforce Development organisation.
Marama is the Managing Director of MiHI Ltd – an innovative consultancy working with communities to attain their goals and dreams. Marama has lead several significant nationwide projects including; Waka Hourua, the nationwide Māori and Pasifika suicide prevention programme; He Ara Toiora, using innovative technology to reduce Māori childhood obesity and One Heart Many Lives – a cardiovascular prevention programme for Māori and Pasifika men.
