Hobson Leavy are thrilled to announce that Jeremy O’Brien has been appointed as Future Director for The Warehouse Group.
Jeremy is a talented senior executive with an earlier career in marketing before broadening into wider commercial roles. He has honed his skills and experience in a variety of blue-chip environments, including Vodafone, ASB, Lion, TVNZ and now Air New Zealand, all encompassing a strong consumer lens.
Beginning his career in financial services with ANZ, he progressed through various marketing roles over the first ten years of his career, subsequently working for ASB, Vodafone and Lion. In 2005 Jeremy joined TVNZ where he remained for the second decade of his career. Since 2016 Jeremy has been with Air New Zealand, where he has progressed through a number of roles, including Regional GM positions across retail marketing, loyalty and direct channels. In 2020 he spent a few months in the US as Regional GM for the Americas, leading restructuring of the business in that region as a result of the impact of covid. Jeremy returned to New Zealand as GM Brand and Marketing before the business adopted an Agile model and took on his current role as Tribe Lead, Short Haul Airline, where he leads the commercial, revenue, customer and airport operational outcomes for the Australia and the Pacific Islands route group.
Please join us in congratulating Jeremy on his appointment!
