The business has evolved significantly over the past 90 years through a combination of both organic and acquisitive growth – today McKay offers a range of innovate products and services, spanning electrical engineering, design, maintenance and automation.
Reporting to the Managing Director, Executive General Manager (EGM) Business Development & Marketing plays a critical leadership role in contributing to the business’ growth agenda. Functionally, they will be responsible for shaping McKay Sales Strategy through the development and implementation of robust business development and marketing strategies. The role will partner cross functionally with the business, providing strategic and accurate insights with respect to market opportunities and customer insights. They will collaborate effectively across the organization to develop sales opportunities and convert commercial leads. EGM Business Development & Marketing will lead effective bid management processes and deliver superior customer care; fostering long-term client relationships.
The successful candidate will bring strong customer management experience at a senior level – with expertise across new business development, revenue generation and contract management. They will offer a track record of driving exceptional business outcomes and likely emerge from a commercial environment with similar technical underpinnings. Critically, the EGM Business Development & Marketing will be an empowering and strategic people leader – able to foster a collaborative, cohesive and high performing team culture.
