Hobson Leavy is excited to be working with the Robertson Family to appoint a new CEO to their iconic New Zealand business, Waiaua Bay Farm (WBF).
WBF has established a strong reputation in New Zealand, where it has grown to become New Zealand’s leading operator of luxury lodge accommodation and golf course experiences.
The business today comprises:
- Kauri Cliffs (luxury lodge accommodation, a championship golf course and six thousand acre working farm).
- Cape Kidnappers (luxury lodge accommodation, a championship golf course and six thousand acre working farm).
- Matakauri (luxury accommodation).
- Brooksdale (High Country Station in the South Island).
WBF is now seeking to recruit the CEO to lead the business through its next exciting phase. The CEO is responsible for the entire New Zealand operations of WBF, as well as driving their long-term growth strategy and continue the ongoing success of this multi-generational family business into the foreseeable future.
Therefore, we are searching for a credible leader ideally with experience in the luxury accommodation sector, able to identify strategic opportunities across the business. Experience in maximising land development value would be highly advantageous, gained either directly or working alongside a specialist property developer to aid in driving their long-term growth strategy. The CEO must have excellent financial acumen, with the ability to steward the financial assets of WBF.
