HQT is seeking a new CEO to propel the business into its next growth phase. A seasoned people leader, HQT’s incoming CEO will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of HQT, with a focus on sustainable long-term business growth. Leading a team across Taranaki and Auckland, the CEO will empower the executive and wider HQT team to deliver positive and strategic outcomes that produce tangible commercial value.
The incoming CEO will understand how to build a strong digital brand to open new global market opportunities, enabling HQT to engage with a global audience to drive sales and revenues for the business. A sales and marketing background may therefore be advantageous, to deliver to shareholders. The CEO will also possess an understanding of how technology can uplift business performance, and they be committed to continuous improvement.
Reporting to the board, the CEO will possess exceptional leadership credentials, outstanding communication skills, and strong financial and commercial acumen. They will have a visionary approach to attract, retain, and grow talent, and be a collaborative leader, with a genuine, down-to-earth character to connect with HQT’s culture and ethos. They will be a visible leader based at HQT’s HQ, in Taranaki.
