Hobson Leavy is thrilled to announce that Aisha Daji Punga has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer for Toitū Envirocare.
Aisha has extensive experience in marketing, sales, and business strategy. She began her career in FMCG and then spent time at Vodafone New Zealand in various roles. From 2006 to 2016, Aisha worked at Frucor Beverages, where she led marketing, sales, and logistics at an executive level. In her final years, she managed the Pepsi Co portfolio in New Zealand, overseeing multiple business functions. Aisha concluded her time at Frucor as Future Ventures Director, focusing on new revenue streams. After leaving the corporate world in 2016, she transitioned to a more purpose-driven career. Aisha then served as CEO of Starship Foundation for nearly five years, leading the organisation through a transformative period, improving its financial performance, culture, external engagement, and impact.
Aisha has spent the past two years building her consulting practice, impactFULLco, which helps individuals and organisations balance purpose and profit. She is drawn to Toitū’s alignment with her values and its mission to unlock potential for Aotearoa NZ. With a personal passion for the environment and regeneration, Aisha is motivated by the opportunity to lead in advancing New Zealand’s sustainability agenda.
