Hobson Leavy is delighted to announce that Steve Fiet has been appointed as Hereworth’s new Headmaster. Hereworth is one of New Zealand’s premier private preparatory schools for boys and is based in the Hawkes Bay. He will be commencing in the role at the beginning of Term 3.
Steve is joining Hereworth from Pinehurst School in Albany, Auckland where he is currently the Assistant Headmaster of the Junior College.
Steve began his teaching career in 1994 in his native Scotland. Since moving to NZ in 2003 he has held roles as Technology Specialist at James Cook High School in Auckland, Senior Teacher for Technology and Arts at Takapuna Normal Intermediate School and Dean of Year 8 and Year 7 at Pinehurst School. He has been the Assistant Headmaster of Junior College since 2012.
